Tattoo Guide

1)

My mom died when I was little, I always knew that I wanted to get a tattoo to celebrate her life. She died when I was 6 years old so I don't know that much about her, so I chose to get her birth date and death date.

2) & 3)

I got these tattoos together. The top on is the national adoption symbol. Since i'm adopted, I wanted to also celebrate that fact. The second one is a quote from Glee, from Hurt Hummel. When I first heard it, it really hit me in the heart. Sometimes I really felt alone even thought I was surrounded by people. This quote has gotten me through some dark times.

4) & 7)

I got the top tattoo next. "A mandala is a spiritual and ritual symbol in Hinduism and Buddhism, representing the universe. In common use, "mandala" has become a generic term for any diagram, chart or geometric pattern that represents the cosmos metaphysically or symbolically; a microcosm of the universe."

The bottom one I got second to last. Its Anne Boleyn's signature. I have loved her since I was 6 years old, I've thought of getting a big tattoo with her face or something like that, but in the end I decided to get her signature.

5)

Next I got this crown on my wrist. I've lived in Charlotte all my life. I love my city, i wanted to carry something of it around with me, for whenever I moved away, I would never forget where I came from.

6)

My college friend ask me randomly if I wanted to get a tattoo with her. She was amused when I yes, no question, just yes. So we went to go get tattoos. She got a Harry Potter tattoo and I got this. I love the ocean, I don't get to see the ocean as often as i would like.

8)

This is my latest one. I recently adopted a cat from a shelter and fell completely in love. I got a tattoo to also show my love for my Meme cat and sailor moon. I've loved sailor moon for years and wanted to get something for it, so i got a tattoo for both.
